ETHNOCULTURAL FIELD OF TRANSBOUNDARY REGIONS AS A FACTOR OF INTEGRATION (VIEWS OF SMAGUL SADVOKASOV)

Abstract

The semantics of the linguistic environment of cross-border regions is an absolute barometer of the atmosphere of interethnic contacts. The language of marginal zones, saturated with borrowings, reflects close economic ties, to some extent identifies the frequency of interethnic marriages. And at the same time warns of potential risks. The legacy of the previous stages of scientific study of the specifics of the Greater Altai region, through the efforts of both Russian and Kazakh researchers: writers, ethnographers, historians and culturologists, is important to disseminate and publish, as examples of the correct interpretation of regional features, in the context of the world historical process. In this regard, the interpretation of border relations as an effective factor of rational management and potential integration on the example of the views of the Kazakh statesman of the first third of the twentieth century Smagul Sadvokasov is of enduring interest. Unfortunately, he was not understood and even accused unfairly, was expelled from Kazakhstan, his name and works were withdrawn from mass circulation and returned only in recent decades.
