Монеты и жетоны из погребений Козюлинского курганного могильника как исторический источник

Аннотация

В статье представлены монеты и жетоны из Козюлинского курганного могильника, дано их полное описание: 70 монет и две монетовидные пластинки, 13 жетонов и одна имитация. Даны результаты элементного состава тех нумизматических находок, визуальное определение которых было затруднено. Приводится контекст нахождения монет и жетонов в погребении: где они располагались, какие предметы им сопутствовали. Все находки проанализированы по половозрастному признаку. Часть монет и все жетоны имели отверстия, что указывает на их применение как украшений. Большинство монет из погребений не имели отверстий. Вероятно, это свидетельствует о том, что население, оставившее Козюлинский могильник, воспринимало монеты и как денежный эквивалент, имеющий самостоятельную ценность.

Монеты и нюрнбергские жетоны являются одним из надежных источников по датировке погребальных комплексов XVII–XIX вв. Проведенные исследования уточняют датировку Козюлинского курганного могильника: монет и жетонов позднее 1676 г. в нем нет. Публикуемые материалы могут быть полезны для уточнения хронологии синхронных археологических памятников Западной Сибири и сопредельных территорий.
