Abstract
The state and prospects of new directions of flax processing in the Republic of Belarus are considered, taking into account its component composition for obtaining innovative types of products. The results of research on determining the composition of Belarusian selection flax seeds, the main components of fibers flax and after various stages of its processing are presented. A method has been developed for producing alpha-cellulose from cotonized flax fiber for its subsequent use in high-energy materials technology. It has been shown that flax fibers can be used to produce alpha cellulose along with cotton. From flax seeds of Belarusian selection, it is promising not only to extract oil, but also gum as an alternative to imported guar and xanthan gums, as well as other biologically active components.
