Abstract

The article considers the possibility of manufacturing of construction and finishing materials based on extruded wastes of plant origin. The results of research of dependence of properties of construction and finishing materials from agricultural wastes on concentration of NaOH solution used for binder processing are given. It is shown that it is expedient to use sunflower husk and wheat straw as a binder. On the basis of the conducted researches it is established that the obtained products by strength and hydrophobic characteristics can be used as structural materials in dry interior spaces.
