DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AS AN INNOVATION FACTOR IN THE ACTIVITIES OF COMPANIES IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Abstract
The fundamental paradigm for studying the impact of digital transformation on the business processes of companies as a whole was the study of J. Schumpeter, the greatest economist of the 19th — 20th centuries. In his opinion, innovation is nothing more than the basis of economic development. With the introduction of new approaches to activity management, which determine the transition dynamics from one structure to another, accompanied by significant changes, which, in turn, absorb old products and produce new ones, a transformation process occurs in the internal elements of the company's working mechanism.
Overall, automation is a powerful tool that improves the efficiency of construction project management by promoting quality coordination among project team members. Phased changes concern both initial planning and commissioning of the facility — this is the path to digital transformation.
As part of the study, the authors found that the digital transformation paradigm also brings with it intracollective changes in the behavioral line of employees, contributing to the development of a generative ideological mechanism, aimed at developing additional areas of the organization's activities, reducing the time range indicators necessary to fulfill the tasks set by management, and improving the psychological intro-team climate.
