INDUSTRIAL POLICY IN ALTAI KRAI IN THE CONTEXT OF DEVELOPMENT OF INTERREGIONAL ECONOMIC INTEGRATION

Abstract
This article reveals the features of regional industrial policy in Altai Krai in the modern period. The article reveals both the established traditional forms of regional industrial policy and the forms of industrial support after the beginning of the second sanctions wave (February-March 2022). Its originality is conditioned by the perspective of the problem consideration, in which the issues of regional authorities» assistance to the reformatting of new international and interregional ties of Altai Krai are put in the center of attention.
The structure of the article is represented by three main sections. The first of them reveals the historical factors of the Altai Krai industry development both in the years of Soviet power and in the years of radical reforms and post-reform period. The central place in the article is occupied by the analysis of the problems of industrial development that arose as a result of the second sanctions wave. In the dynamics of 2022-2024 the directions and volumes of regional financial support of the Altai Krai industrial enterprises and agricultural machine-building enterprises from the regional and federal authorities, its impact on the processes of import substitution and ensuring technological independence of the regional economy are disclosed. The third section is devoted to summarizing the experience of the Altai Krai regional authorities in the development of interregional economic relations: the conclusion of agreements with the executive authorities of the Russian regions, interaction with major public and private corporations, promotion of new forms of intensification of industrial cooperation, etc. The author also summarizes the experience of the Altai Krai regional authorities in the development of interregional economic relations.
