Abstract

In light of the rapid development of modern business, it is important to consider the long-term legacy of the managerial reforms implemented by Henry Ford at the beginning of the 20th century. These reforms not only altered the industrial landscape but also exerted a profound influence on contemporary management and leadership practices. The article analyzes the innovations H. Ford introduced in management, focusing on their long-term impact. Specifically, it examines his leadership vision, which is centered on principles of efficiency, employee welfare, and continuous innovation. Despite being formulated almost a century ago, these principles remain relevant for 21st-century leaders, reflecting the importance of considering the human factor and striving for continuous improvement. The article also draws attention to the negative aspects of Ford's approach that continue to provoke discussions in the modern era. These aspects include his authoritarian management style, disregard for individual employee needs, and challenges in social responsibility. Negative characteristics of H. Ford serve as a reminder of the importance of striking a balance between productivity and humane management aspects in today's world. Thus, the article comprehensively reveals the influence of Henry Ford's management and leadership innovations on modern business, delineating both their positive and negative aspects, which still influence our organizations and society as a whole.
