THE PHENOMENON OF ENVY IN ETHICAL, CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL ASPECTS

Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of some aspects of the phenomenon of envy. Its consideration is subordinated to the purpose of the work, to show the unconditional importance of studying this phenomenon, in order to overcome this negative element in consciousness through the education system and cultural and educational work. This, in turn, caused the need to trace the formation of the concept of envy in the context of the history of humanitarian thought, at its earliest stages, an analysis of various interpretations of this phenomenon is also given and attention is paid separately to the destructive side of envy, without recognizing its positive features. The analysis is carried out through historical-comparative and axiological approaches. As a conclusion on the work, the author concludes that there is a need for educational and educational work to reduce, and ideally, overcome feelings of envy.
