Abstract

The article analyzes the philosophical problems of the formation of the image of the world depending on the degree of spiritual evolution of a person. The author of the article notes that depending on the ideals dominating in the public consciousness, there is a theoretical model of the world that is formed in the consciousness of an individual. The model of the world formed in this way determines the main vectors of a person's life priorities and acts as the foundation of his value system. But the models of the world existing in the individual consciousness have different and sometimes contradictory attitudes, depending on which "rules of life" formed their basis. Objective scientific knowledge creates an appropriate image of the world, while prejudices and archetypes of the ancient order generate images that do not correspond to reality, which contradict reality and often cause social conflicts.
