Is it relevant or cultural?
Abstract
The meanings of the relevant in culture are a very popular research trend. It needs to be given special attention in modern cultural studies, because it is necessary to reach a new level of assessment of the conditions and processes occurring around a person. This article presents reflections on the articulation of the meanings of the actual and cultural. The question posed in the title of the article allows us to see how meanings are grasped in culture, how they symbolize reality to the extent that the cultural itself is comprehended by a person as a given. The correlation of the actual and the cultural in terms of time and space, objective and subjective, historical and non-historical, the unfolding and folding of meanings, etc. is considered. In the end, a generalizing conclusion is made about the need to establish the limits of the search for what is relevant in culture or still relevant in culture (in the expression or reflection of the meanings of human existence).
