Abstract

The dependence on information technology is increasing every year, which is explained not only by trends in
the international market, but also by socio-economic in the country and the world. The development of the IT
industry predetermines the renewal of management tools and methods in other sectors of the economy. Business
is rapidly moving into an online mode of operation, companies are creating websites and mobile applications for
online orders, online payment for goods and services.
The key factor in the implementation of IT projects is high-quality management, effective management of industry
projects, taking into account its implementation. The complexity of the project increases the level of its riskiness, the
excessive number of obstacles on the way to successful implementation, therefore, IT project management creates
special attention. The application of principles, methodologies and management models allows you to decompose
complex technological tasks, conduct preventive risk management and successfully implement IT projects. The author of a comparative analysis of the management of an IT project — a website training portal using flexible and
methodologies.
