NATIONAL COMMUNITIES AS THE SUBJECT OF FORMATION OF CIVIL SOCIETY IN ALTAI REGION

Abstract

The national communities existing in the form of non-profit organizations such as «cultural center», «national and cultural autonomy», «regional public organization» are the direct institutes capable to render assistance to formation of civil society in Russia. Results of interviews with representatives of national communities of Altai region conducted by researcher for the purpose of studying of trust to institutes of the power and the state as to the guarantor of political and social freedoms are given in the article. Need of adaptation of citizens of various nationalities to conditions of the Russian society demands continuous interaction of representatives of national communities with public authorities now. The positive interaction which is observed in the sphere of the organization of activity of national communities not always corresponds to specifics of realization of the rights of members of national communities in the field of employment, the choice of the residence and the help in questions of migration.
