Abstract
The article analyzes the mechanism of countering corruption in Russia, the role of civil society institutions in this. It justifies the need for the participation of the Russian civil society in the implementation of measures aimed at combating corruption. The importance of a comprehensive study of the historical features of the social and political development of the individual and society in Russia is emphasized.
