Abstract

The increase in tourist flow observed in recent years in the AltaiTerritory requires the development of accommodation infrastructure. The analysisshows the lag of this sector. Despite the growth of the main economic indicatorscharacterizing this industry, the level of development does not meet modern requirements. Given the low level of investment directed at developing accommoda-82tion facilities, the situation may become even more complicated. The region hasdeveloped a very uneven provision of municipalities with accommodation facilities.Identified problems while maintaining them can have a negative impact on the tourist image of the region.
