Abstract

The results of the review of scientific publications by foreign authors are allowed to perform a comparative analysis of approaches and models of government regulation and to highlight their specific features. There is a breadth of views on the regulation of tourism activities, emphasizes the special role of the state and its policies in regulating certain types of tourism, in particular domestic tourism, as well as tourism for the social categories of citizens. The examples of individual countries are considered from the point of view of their acceptability in Russia.
