Аннотация

Анализируются 22 детали костюма кафиров и частично калашей Гиндукуша, которые имеют близкие аналогии у родственных древних ираноязычных народов доисламского времени. Больше всего таких аналогий имеется у индо-скифов и кушан, создавших в I в. до н.э. — I в. н.э. крупные державы поблизости. Эти народы повлияли на костюм местных индо-иранцев и, возможно, участвовали в их этнической истории. Влияние древних иранских народов, проживавших ближе к Гиндукушу, проявилось в крупных аксессуарах костюма, а также в головных уборах и прическе. Легко объяснить также нахождение сходных элементов в «мировой империи» Ахеменидов и у такого активного в раннем Средневековье народа, как согдийцы. Однако многие детали костюма отчасти изолированных обществ высокогорья с их простой сельской жизнью не нашли аналогий в парадном искусстве для элиты различных иранских народов. Важным представляется сотрудничество культурного антрополога и археолога для решения этой задачи. Предлагаются новые методики такого совместного исследования.
