Аннотация

В статье представлены результаты изучения коллекции поясных гарнитур из погребений некрополя булан-кобинской культуры Чобурак-I, полностью раскопанного экспедицией Алтайского государственного университета. Данный памятник расположен в Чемальском районе Республики Алтай, на правом берегу Катуни. Публикуемые вещественные материалы происходят из 11 непотревоженных объектов. Анализируемая серия представлена железными предметами: 17 пряжек, 90 блях, четыре наконечника, распределитель, пять «блоков», 14 креплений. Они обнаруживают многочисленные аналогии в погребальных комплексах булан-кобинской культуры Алтая II–V вв. н.э. Сравнительное исследование морфологических признаков сохранившихся металлических деталей позволило определить их относительную хронологию в рамках обозначенного периода. Изучение взаимной встречаемости зафиксированных категорий снаряжения стало основанием для выделения нескольких типов наборных поясов, найденных в шести захоронениях. Установлено, что разница качественного и количественного состава гарнитур не связана с возрастом и социальным статусом умерших мужчин и, по-видимому, отражает персональные предпочтения их владельцев. В могилы женщин, подростка и ребенка помещены пояса, которые были снабжены минимальным количеством элементов. Рассмотренные изделия демонстрируют вариативность оформления поясов населением Северного Алтая в жужанское время. Археологические данные из раскопок памятника Чобурак-I подтверждают ранее выявленные тенденции эволюции снаряжения населения Алтая на рубеже поздней древности и раннего Средневековья.
