Abstract
This article discusses the process of obtaining esterquat, with different ratios of diethanolamine to sunflower oil, as well as with different lengths of synthesis. The resulting ester was tested for free amine and bound acid values. Conducted studies on the surface-active characteristics of the solutions showed their compliance with esterquats.
