Abstract
Changes in the structure, content and degree of influence of external environmental factors of anorganization are accompanied by a number of questions that their managers are forced to answer, for example, are we moving in the right direction and with the right team, have we analyzed all the circumstances when making decisions in favor of the technology or is its implementation inappropriate, are there enough resources in the organization, is it necessary to revise the motivation system, etc.The most common topics discussed today in the theory and practice of management are lean manufacturing, project management, and business process digitalization tools.The article is devoted to the assessment of the problems and limitations of the implementation of the leanmanufacturing system in the food industry organization and the development of recommendations for making the appropriate decision. The author pays special attention to the organizational culture as a basic factor in the implementation of lean manufacturing tools in the practice of companies. The objects of the study are food industry organizations, the research methods are quantitative and qualitative methods of collecting and analyzing data, monitoring the processes of implementing technological solutions, comparative analysis, SWOT analysis, scenario modeling, and the method of expert assessments. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study includes scientific works by domestic and foreign authors, specialists in the field of improving the efficiency of enterprise activities using lean manufacturing tools and transforming organizational culture.
