Abstract
This article examines the experience of food industry enterprises in the Altai Territory in the process of integrating the «Chestny Znak» system, identifies the main problems and difficulties faced by manufacturers at various stages. Special attention is paid to the impact of the «Chestny Znak»on such aspects as: opportunities to strengthen the competitive position of Altai food products in the domestic and foreign markets, economic consequences for foodproducers in the region, including both the costs of adaptation and the potential benefits of increasing consumer confidence and combating counterfeit products. The current regulatory framework governing the introduction and use of labeling is being considered. The analytical part is based on methods of classification and grouping, comparative and situational analysis, selective observation, and factor analysis. The analysis in the work was carried out according to the available official statistical information.
