Abstract
This publication presents a set of problems on the economic theory and practice of cost-basedmeasurement of economic effects in the area of corruption and externalities, successfully tested during the All-Russian School Olympiad in Economics in the Altai Territory. The solutions to these problems are intended to develop the necessary competencies in schoolchildren and students on cost-based measurement of the economics of corruption and externalities, thereby promoting a proper understanding of the principles of institutional design for mechanisms to overcome negative transformations and internalize externalities. Furthermore, the educational function of analyzing and discussing these problems is of great preventative importance, aiming to establish positiveincentives and motivations for effective, responsible, and law-abiding behavior in students.Some of the tasks presented in the publication were developed during the research period under a grant from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (research project No. 19–010–01045A “Study of the relativity of value measurements in a heterogeneous economic space of transactions: micro- and macroeconomic aspects”).
