Abstract
In the context of increasing economic instability and geopolitical constraints, the Russian grain processing industry is facing a number of significant challenges that require a review of competitiveness management mechanisms at all levels from an individual enterprise to the industry as a whole. These problems are most acute in export-oriented regions, such as the Altai Territory, which has significant resource potential, but at the same time is experiencing infrastructural and logistical constraints.The purpose of the study is a comprehensive assessment of the factors determining the competitiveness of grain processing enterprises in an unstable Russian economy. The tasks include the analysis of production, price and sales indicators at the federal and regional levels, as well as the identification of key problems and promising areas for improving the sustainability of the industry.The methodological basis consists of comparative and dynamic analysis, a structural-factorialapproach.
