Abstract

The article presents the results of the BRICS International Round Table held at Altai State University, dedicated to the problems of developing a modern society in the context of digitalization. The participants' reports and the materials of the round table reflected the risks and threats associated with the development of such unfavorable trends as the rapid growth of cybercrime and its transformation into a transnational phenomenon. Specific proposals aimed at neutralizing negative phenomena and preventing transnational cybercrime were discussed.
