Formation of traditional family values in the process of socialization of the younger generation

Abstract
The article discusses the peculiarities of the process of socialization of young people, which is presented as an integral result of the action of external incentives, processes and agents, whose activities are aimed at the formation of internal attitudes and values. Based on the empirical data of the author's sociological survey of young people aged 14-35 in the Republic of Tatarstan, in order to identify factors that mediate the formation of family values of young people, some conditions have been identified that mediate the attitudes of the younger generation towards traditional family values: preservation and reproduction of family traditions, family history, joint leisure, which together contributes to strengthening interpersonal and intergenerational ties in the family. It has been established that the younger generation appreciates the importance of family values, which is facilitated by the practices of strengthening family ties that are formed in the process of continuity of family traditions. Some attitudes of the younger generation on reproductive behavior were noted and the need for further research into the reasons for choosing deferred parenthood among young people was actualized.
