FOREIGN TRADE ACTIVITIES OF ENTERPRISES OF THE ALTAI TERRITORY AS AN ECONOMIC MECHANISM FOR PARTICIPATION IN GLOBAL VALUE CHAINS

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the export activities of producers in the Altai Territory from the standpoint of their participation in global value-added chains. The information basis for the analysis was made by the data of the Federal Customs Service for 2014–2017. Based on the analysis of the commodity structure of exports and imports of the Altai Territory in 2017, the authors differentiated the most significant export-import flows of the Altai Territory. It is believed that the presented results may be of practical importance and be interesting when making management decisions, both at the level of executive authorities in the development of relevant regional programs, and at the level of business structures, as links of global value chains.
