АРХЕОЛОГИЯ ТАИЛАНДА: ИСТОРИЯ ИЗУЧЕНИЯ, ДИСКУССИОННЫЕ СЮЖЕТЫ

Аннотация

Юго-Восточная Азия, в нашем случае Таиланд, уже много лет привлекает внимание археологов. Археология Таиланда начала развиваться как самостоятельная научная дисциплина во 2-й половине XX в. Сначала большое внимание уделялось изучению памятников исторического периода, но с 1960-х гг. активизировалось и систематическое исследование более древних памятников, проводились первые экспедиции. В совместных работах с тайскими археологами участвуют специалисты из разных стран: Великобритании, США, Франции, Дании, Италии и др. Совместные проекты с зарубежными исследователями помогли улучшить понимание региона. Вопросы, связанные с появлением культурных различий и возникновением некоторых технологических практик, по-прежнему вызывают дебаты. В научной литературе накопился блок дискуссионных сюжетов, некоторые из них рассматриваются в настоящей статье: современное содержание «линии Мовиуса» применительно к Таиланду; особенности процесса неолитизации на территории Таиланда, распространение гончарства; время появления металлургии; идентификация мегалитических сооружений.
