ОБЩИЕ И ОСОБЕННЫЕ ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКИ ПОЛОЖЕНИЯ УМЕРШИХ В НЕКРОПОЛЯХ СЕВЕРНОГО АЛТАЯ РАННЕСКИФСКОГО ВРЕМЕНИ (ПО МАТЕРИАЛАМ КОМПЛЕКСА КАРБАН-I)
Аннотация
Статья посвящена анализу и интерпретации особенностей положения умерших в погребальной камере по материалам раскопок объектов раннескифского времени памятника Карбан-I. Данный комплекс, расположенный в Чемальском районе Республики Алтай, исследовался в 1989–1990 гг. экспедицией Барнаульского государственного педагогического института (ныне Алтайский государственный педагогический университет). Установлено, что обряд населения, оставившего рассматриваемый некрополь, отличала неустойчивость традиций положения захороненных людей, в то время как для синхронных объектов на Алтае стандартной является поза умерших «скорченно» на левом боку. Данная черта погребальной практики могла быть обусловлена социальными, хронологическими и этнокультурными факторами, связанными с «переходностью» комплекса Карбан-I. Одним из доводов в пользу данного предположения является то, что некоторые курганы рассматриваемого памятника (№ 3, 5, 8, 20, 21, 26) демонстрируют ряд черт, ставших позже характерными для могильников пазырыкской культуры. Таким образом, материалы раскопок памятника Карбан-I актуализируют изучение проблемы преемственности традиций кочевников горной части Алтая в IX–VI и VI–III вв. до н. э.
