ПОГРЕБЕНИЕ АФАНАСЬЕВСКОЙ КУЛЬТУРЫ У СЕЛА КАРА-КОБА В ЦЕНТРАЛЬНОМ АЛТАЕ
Аннотация
В статье публикуются итоги комплексного междисциплинарного исследования материалов из погребения афанасьевской культуры, раскопанного в 1981 г. А.С. Суразаковым в центральной части Горного Алтая у с. Кара-Коба. Оградка из вертикально поставленных камней находилась рядом с каменной вымосткой со стелой. В могиле, перекрытой каменной плитой, погребен ребенок 3–4 лет, на спине с согнутыми в коленях ногами, головой на юго-запад. Скелет и дно могилы густо окрашены охрой. Из инвентаря найдены глиняные сосуд и курильница, каменный топорик. Сосуд изготовлен из местного сырья, украшен необычным орнаментом. Топорик не имеет близких аналогий среди инвентаря из погребений афанасьевской культуры. В результате трасологического анализа каменного орудия следов его функционального использования не обнаружено. Возможно, в захоронение было помещено орудие, изготовленное неафанасьевскими мастерами. Череп ребенка по краниометрическим данным относится к длинноголо[1]вому долихокранному протоевропейскому антропологическому типу, характеризующему население афанасьевской культуры. Наибольшее морфологическое сходство индивида из Кара-Коба предполагается с людьми из курганов афанасьевского времени Южного Алтая. Несмотря на необычный инвентарь, погребение относится к афанасьевской культуре и датировано концом IV — началом III тыс. до н.э.
