Abstract
The relevance of the article is due to the importance of annual monitoring to assess the drug safety of the region as an integral part of national security, building an anti-drug policy taking into account the state and positive experience of anti-drug activities. Taking into account the multidimensional nature of monitoring studies of the drug situation, the author, when determining the purpose of the study, primarily relies on the analysis of objective factors, without bypassing some subjective determinants of the drug situation with value judgments. The main observations are made based on the analysis of the results of sociological research in the format of annual monitoring covering the six-year period 2017-2023. The author notes the importance of anti-drug activity as an integral component ensuring the safety of modern society; some general assessments of the significant determinants of the drug situation are formulated. The results of the study are of interest to the subjects of the region's anti-drug policy in developing management decisions to ensure its drug safety, organizing and building anti-drug activities based on accumulated experience and taking into account their own capabilities.
