PROSPECTS OF INTEGRATION INTO THE SPHERE OF TOURISM OF THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL HERITAGE OF THE NORTHERN KULUNDA: ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE SETTLEMENT NOVOILILINKA-VI
Abstract
In the archaeological sense, the Kulundin steppe is essentially a white spot on the archaeological map of Altai. Archaeological research was carried out with long breaks. Small areas were explored. A complete archaeological survey was not conducted. Researchers working in this area have never been tasked with identifying monuments and surveying any significant areas. Until now, all open monuments are the result of a scientific search for individual scientists in the process of solving their particular research tasks. In the last decade, the study of the Aeneolithic settlements Novoilinka III and Novoilinka VI begins in the Khabarsky District of the Altai Territory. It can be stated that the settlement of Novoilinka-VI is a complex archaeological site that has no analogues in the Altai Territory. The high scientific potential of the Novoilinka-VI settlement is beyond doubt. This archaeological site is informative, informative. Archaeological finds 44 obtained in the course of field research now can decorate the exposition of museums of any level. A feature of this monument is an extremely high concentration of archaeological finds (about 1000 per square meter). Among the undoubted advantages include the excellent preservation of the elements of housing structures. The settlement of Novoilinka-VI ideally meet all the criteria for museification. There is no doubt the high tourist and recreational potential of the settlement of Novoilinka-VI and the need for additional work on the study of this unique monument.
