ANALYSIS AND PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGROTOURISM IN POLAND
Abstract
Agritourism holds a special place in the system of the modern worldtourist market. Today it is customary to consider it as one of the leading and activelydeveloping sectors of the tourism market. Many researchers attribute this to an increase in public awareness of environmental problems, an increase in man-madepressure on society, growing urbanization, and other factors. The article attempts toreview the evolution of agritourism in Poland and identify the factors that have themost noticeable impact on its development. The analysis made it possible to concludethat the trend of active growth of agritourism has slowed down recently due to increasing competition. However, a wide variety of natural, agricultural, ethnographic,cultural and other resources of rural Poland allows you to create a competitive touristproduct based on the optimal combination of price and quality. The article formulatesmeasures and prerequisites for the further development of agritourism in Poland.
