Abstract

The need to implement automated management systems has become an obvious factor for successful business development for most food companies. The use of technologies becomes a means of competition. Technological progress is progressing rapidly. If earlier enterprises changed technological equipment on average every 7-9 years, today the cycle has been reduced to 2-4 years. The paper analyzes the effectiveness of the introduction of information technologies in food enterprises of the Altai territory, identifies the main directions of development of automation systems, shows the dynamics and analysis of the implementation of these systems in the study area of the region and offers appropriate recommendations. The practical significance of the study is that the study provides methodological recommendations on automation systems in the field of food enterprises, and the ability, considering the specifics of the enterprise, to implement the optimal system for the economic and competitive strategy of these enterprises in the region.
