The field of scientific interests is represented by interdisciplinaryresearch. This research in the field of historical geography, including the reconstruction of the natural conditions of the past based on archaeological sites. In thecourse of scientific research, the climate of the Scythian era was reconstructed forthe South-Eastern Altai based on the study of wood from archaeological sites. Synchronicity of climatic and historical periods in the Altai is revealed and the mechanism of changing material cultures under the influence of climate is justified. In thefield of scientific interests are also indicative capabilities and the importance of theproperties of archaeological monuments for assessing the role of the anthropogenicfactor in the development of landscapes. Also scientific research in the field oftourism, including sightseeing and ecological directions.
