YURY TAPASOVICH MAMADAKOV IS 60 YEARS OLD
Abstract
In August, 2014 60 years to the researcher of ancient and medieval cultures of Altai Yury Tapasovich Mamadakov were executed. Brief information on life and activity of the archeologist, the list of publications and the list of some reports testifying to results of field researches is presented in the article, After receiving the higher education Yu.T. Mamadakov long time worked at the Altai state university in Laboratory of archeology, ethnography and history of Altai. During this period he conducted active examinations and excavation during which the materials which allowed to defend the PhD thesis in 1990 were received. Allocation in Altai of Bulan-Koby culture in Khunnu-Syanbi-Zhuzhan time became the main result of researches. Except studying of sites dated by «Gunn-Sarmatian» time, Yu.T. Mamadakov dug out objects of other periods. The collection of archeological finds, essential on volume, is stored in the Museum of archeology and ethnography of Altai in ASU. Still there is a relevance of their introduction to a scientific turn. Now Yury Tapasovich directs works of the Heritage of Siberia Scientific center which is engaged inspections and excavation of emergency sites which get to zones of various construction.
