THE ESSENCE, CONCEPT, PRINCIPLES OF FORMATION OF LOCAL MARKETS FOR PRODUCTS OF A CROSS-BORDER REGION
УДК 332.146.2
Abstract
The article explores various interpretations of the concepts of "local market" and "cross-border region". We believe that events in local markets and territories are, in fact, a reflection and consequence of larger–scale economic processes taking place at the national, regional or regional level. We believe that the creation of an effective system of local markets, especially in developing regions, including cross–border ones, is a key factor for the growth of these territories. Such a system gives local organizations the opportunity to access target markets with stable solvent demand, contributing to their development and prosperity. Consistency in the formation of local markets in cross-border regions will avoid the autonomy and segmentation of the regional economy. The category of "local market" is actively explored to a greater extent by Russian scientists, who are making attempts in terms of structuring, typologization, orderliness, formalization of scientific research and the search for a scientific universal methodology associated with an objective justification of this economic process. Most of the provisions of the theory of the functioning of the local market, studied in the Russian literature, are often controversial. This paper describes the possible interaction of the border territories of the Altai Territory based on the formation of local markets with neighboring countries.
