Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the current state and identification of the problems of human resource management in the dynamically developing IT sphere in the Russian Federation, with an emphasis on the generational characteristics of its employees. The paper considers the application of generational theory to understand the motivational factors, values, work styles and preferences of IT specialists. An analysis is made of the influence of generational differences on the formation of personnel management and the organization of the labor process, including search and assessment, adaptation, motivation and stimulation, training and development of personnel. The article considers such trends in IT as remote work, emphasis on soft skills and the creation of an inclusive work environment. A number of recommendations are proposed aimed at improving the efficiency of human resource management and the formation of a competitive personnel structure of the organization.
