RUSSIAN FOLK CULTURE AS AN OBJECT OF STUDY IN CLASSES ON RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN CHINA

Abstract

Russian culture makes up a large layer of traditional folk culture, which is the basis of modern Russian culture. Russian as a foreign language should therefore be introduced to the traditions of Russian folk culture by foreign students. The article is devoted to the review of some modern textbooks published in China on Russian culture and Russian traditional folk culture, the most authoritative and often used in the process of teaching Russian in institutes and universities in China. The structure and content of these textbooks are analyzed. Described a new own model (project) of a textbook on Russian folk culture, intended for use in Russian language classes for Chinese students
