ПОЯСА С РАКОВИНАМИ КАУРИ В КИТАЕ ПО ДАННЫМ ПИСЬМЕННЫХ И АРХЕОЛОГИЧЕСКИХ ИСТОЧНИКОВ

Аннотация

Пояса, расшитые раковинами каури, появляются в Южной Сибири еще в позднескифское время, при этом в научной литературе высказывалось предположение, что эта традиция могла иметь китайское происхождение. В статье анализируются находки раковин каурина территории Китая, а также упоминания поясов в китайских письменных источниках («Му тянь цзы чжуань», «Хуайнаньцзы», «Ши цзи» и «Чжаньго цэ»). Установлено, что до династии Хань раковины каури в основном использовались в нагрудных украшениях. Самые ранние находки поясов, расшитых раковинами, появляются в период Западной Хань лишь в начале II в. до н.э.: предметы в могилах и изображения на терракотовых погребальных статуэтках. Традиция украшать пояса каури просуществовала в Китае не более двух веков. Можно сделать предварительный вывод, что мода на пояса с раковинами каури пришла в Китай вместе с заимствованием платья кочевников хуфу и была распространена лишь среди людей высокого ранга.
