Аннотация

Статья посвящена комплексному историографическому анализу работ С.И. Руденко (1885–1969) в аспекте изучения роли лошади в культуре кочевых народов Евразии, с акцентом на археологические материалы из курганов Алтая. Исследователь подчеркивал важность лошади как культурного символа и социального элемента в быту кочевых народов. На основе многочисленных археологических находок, включая захоронения, изображения и предметы искусства скифского времени, Сергей Иванович объединил данные о культуре коневодства и погребальных практиках, продемонстрировав высокий уровень разведения и ценность лошадей в древнем кочевом обществе, а также указал на отдельные формы конского снаряжения и орнамент на них, отражающий устойчивые символические мотивы. Статья направлена на систематизацию и анализ существующих источников для углубленного понимания роли лошади в культурном наследии Алтая, а также на обозначение перспектив дальнейших исследований, включающих расширение источниковой базы и привлечение междисциплинарных методов.
