INVESTIGATION OF GALANTHUS WORONOWII LOSINSK. AND GALANTHUS NIVALIS L. FLAVONOIDS BY UPLC/PDA/MS IN HOMEOPATHIC CRUDE HERBAL DRUGS
Abstract
This article presents data describing flavonoid composition of Galanthus woronowii Losinsk. and Galanthus nivalis L. homeopathic crude herbal drugs (HomCHD) harvested at the Botanical Garden of I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. The studies were conducted with a chromatograph «ACQUITY ™ UPLC TQD» (Waters, USA) equipped with two types of detectors: photodiode array (Waters PDA, USA), triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (Waters ACQUITY Triple Quadrupole Detector, USA). Separation was performed by a column of «Acquity UPLC BEH» C18, 2,1×150 mm. Gradient elution mode was formed by mixing mobile phase A (water / acetonitrile / formic acid – 95 : 5 : 0.1). and B (acetonitrile / formic acid – 100 : 0.1). Flow rate of mobile phase is 0,3 mL / min. For the first time ever flavonol glycosides were determined by UPLC/PDA/MS/MS method in ethanol extracts from HomCHD of snowdrops. Glycosides of quercetin and isorhamnetin are presented in Galanthus woronowii, glycosides of quercetin and kaempferol are presented in Galanthus nivalis. The difference in the aglycone component composition of two snowdrops species was established, this difference will be used for standardization procedures of HomCHD.Downloads
