THE COMPARATIVE STUDY OF CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF HERBS OF PHARMACOPOEIAL SPECIES OF HY-PERICUM L. WITH THE USING OF HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY
Abstract
The comparative phytochemical study with the using of high performance liquid chromatography of the herbs of Hypericum perforatum L. and Hypericum maculatum Grantz. was carried out. There were observed the differences in the studied species. It was established that predominant flavonoid of Hypericum maculatum Grantz. is hyperoside, which has antidepressive activity. It was shown that content of hyperoside in Hypericum maculatum Grantz. herbs is almost three times higher than in Hypericum perforatum L. (respectively 6,50% and 2,50%). It was determined, that the presence of bisapigenin is characteristic only for Hypericum perforatum L.
