Abstract

The movie industry has become an integral part of our lives. Various movie studios, famous directors and screenwriters who create day in and day out to showcase their picture on the big screen one day, unknowingly createtravel trends. Everyone has movies, TV series, franchises, musicals on their list that have left a mark on their mind and soul. Therefore, many people are eager to visit the places where the hero of their favorite movie once walked, toget acquainted with the country that was saved from an alien invasion, to dine in a cafe where two dangerous gangsters met, or to check into a hotel where a family drama and accompanying mystical events unfolded. After all, moviebuffs and just fans to pass the evening before watching an exciting thriller or love melodrama watch not only the plot, but also admire the scene, the scenery to the action. Then the visual experience comes into play, which subsequentlyaffects the choice of tourist destination. Film tourism is an excellent tool for creating tourist trends, tourist image and increasing the tourist attractiveness of a country, city or region.The article is devoted to the analysis of film tourism as a promising direction in tourism, its forms, advantages of development are considered. Special attention is paid to the role of supporting the film industry as astrategic element in the development of film tourism. Successful examples of countries actively developing film tourism show that investment in the film industry contributes not only to cultural enrichment, but also to economicgrowth through the development of tourism. Further analyzed the state of Kazakhstan's cinematography and proposed routes for the development of film tourism in the country.
