The interpretation of some features of Islam in Russian and European sources of XVII-XXI centuries

Abstract

The author examines in the article the interpretation of some features of Islam in Russian and European sources of XVII-XXI centuries, because with the time, starting from the XVII century, there is the necessity in the scientific study of interpretation of the specifics of Islam by Russian and European Islamic scientists. The author emphasizes on the fact that the conception of continuity of all Scriptures as the Eternal Word of God is traced clearly in Islam, and the prophet Muhammad wasn't the creator of a new religion, he just continued what God had sent to other prophets before him. It is also necessary to emphasize that for the study of Islam as an ideological system the quite extensive material offer different and widespread not Sunni doctrines. To perform analysis of religious scientists of Islam ideology by studying not only the Sunni ways of thinking helps Islamic scientists learn thoroughly the history of the development of prevailing ideas in Islam, that helps to determine the specifics of Islam interpretation, because the formation of Islamic ideology passed in conditions of joint existence and contacts of different views and beliefs of many peoples.
