PREPARATION OF STANDARD 1-HYDROXY-2,3,5-TRIMETHOXYXANTHONE
Abstract
A method of standard 1-hydroxy-2,3,5-trimethoxyxanthone isolation was developed. 1-Hydroxy-2,3,5-trimethoxyxanthone was isolated from the aerial part of Halenia corniculata L. Cornaz and used as a standard for quantitative determination of g-pyrones total content in this plant species. The proposed method was characterized by a high yield of the end product and a simplified process scheme.Downloads
