Abstract
Social and political processes in contemporary Russia are characterized by increased attention of public communities, political elites and academics devoted to involvement of citizens as individual and collective actors into public administration management, resolution of sharp social problems. Extension of the inventory and changes in meaning of forms of civic and political participation, transformation of public conscience, especially its motivation and value-based components related to social activity of citizens, serve an objective ground for their careful scientific analysis. Data of sociological surveys, conducted in 2019 in three Siberian regions – the Altai territory (n=590), the Republic of Altai (n=424) and the Novosibirsk region (n=424) (age of respondents from 18 to 70 years), were used as a basis for the analysis of civic values, feelings and representations about good citizenship, civic identity and experience of civic and political activity. The analysis of behavioral practices by means of factor analysis and regression modeling helped to identify seven basic models of civic participation, differing by forms, course of action and character of interaction with authorities, public and political organizations. For each model a set of determinants was defined, included socio-demographic factors and regional peculiarities, socio-economic, value-based and attitudinal grounds.
