The Concept of the Journal

The journal presents the results of the study of ethnic, religious, socio-political, cultural processes that took place in antiquity, the Middle Ages and in the period of ethnographic modernity on the territory of Eurasia – North, Central and Central Asia, Europe, and other territories.
Many peoples were involved in the cultural and historical processes of Eurasia at different stages of development. In ancient times and the Middle Ages, the famous Great Silk Road, which traversed the vast expanses of the Eurasiatic continent, was the connecting historical corridor connecting between different ethnic groups. At the present stage, various forms of intercultural communication and integration processes continue to develop, which, along with historical memory, affect the ethnic and religious identity of peoples. The historical interrelation of the destinies of many peoples determines the scientific need to attract authors from different countries dealing with the history of peoples and religions of Eurasia on the basis of archaeological, historical, ethnographic, and religious studies. Several works are devoted to the study of ethno-cultural and ethno-confessional processes in the context of national and state-confessional policy of Russia and foreign countries of Europe and Asia.

The publication is intended for religious scholars, historians, archaeologists, ethnographers, cultural scientists, and anyone interested in the history of the peoples and religions of Russia, Asia, and Europe.
