The international scientific conference “Ethno-cultural and ethnosocial processes in the transboundary area of Russia and Central Asia”

Abstract
The article presents the results of the international scientific conference “ethno-cultural and ethno-social processes in the transboundary area of Russia and Central Asia”, held in Barnaul in October 2016, the conference was attended by more than 100 researchers from Russia, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Mongolia. The conference has 4 thematic sections: “religious and ethno-cultural processes in Russia and post-Soviet Central Asia”, “Social processes in the border regions of Russia”, “Mechanisms of economic development of the region in terms of cross-border cooperation”, “Contemporary ethnopolitical processes in Central Asian States and Russia's image in the post-Soviet space.” The reports of the participants of the conference were published in collection of scientific works.
