УЗЛЫ НА РЕМЕШКАХ, ШНУРКАХ, ВЕРЕВКАХ ИЗ РАСКОПОК: ИНФОРМАТИВНЫЕ ВОЗМОЖНОСТИ
Аннотация
В статье рассмотрены узлы, завязанные на веревках в древности и средневековье, найденные археологами Западной Сибири и Казахстана при раскопках памятников разного типа. К сожалению, несмотря на то что такие находки время от времени встречаются в ходе археологических исследований, узлы до сих пор не стали предметом заинтересованного внимания специалистов. Вероятно, с этим связано и мизерное количество публикаций, касающихся анализа узлов. Не способствует изучению узлов их плохая сохранность, а также неумение некоторых ученых анализировать узлы. Автор считает, что узлы на шнурах и веревках при соответствующем изучении могут быть полноценным археологическими источниками. При изучении узлов автором была получена информация о том, что узлы на веревках могут указывать на некоторые особенности в культурах обществ прошлого: на способы связывания пленных или привязывания животных, на существование каких‑либо инструментов и т. д. Факт наличия узлов на длительном отрезке истории человечества позволяет анализировать их на широкой территории с использованием различных видов источников.
