Review process
Review Procedure
1. All manuscripts of articles, scientific reports, materials for the section “Problems of philological education” submitted to the journal are subject to review.
2. The incoming manuscript is registered in the register of work with manuscripts (hereinafter: the log book).
3. After registration, within a week, the manuscript is sent for review by the specialist in the profile, about which an entry is made in the log book.
4. The reviewers are members of the editorial team, members of the editorial council of the journal, as well as doctors of philological sciences and leading specialists - candidates of philological sciences working in universities-founders of the journal. All reviewers are recognized experts on the subject of peer-reviewed materials and have published publications on the subject of a peer-reviewed article over the past 3 years.
5. Each manuscript is reviewed, as a rule, by one specialist.
6. The review period is 10-15 days.
7. Review is made according to the approximate scheme.
8. The review with the signature of the reviewer is returned to the editors, as noted in the log book.
9. The reviewer's opinion is reviewed by the editor-in-chief / deputy editor-in-chief.
10. Within 7 days the text of the review (by e-mail / fax) is sent to the author of the manuscript. The name of the reviewer is not reported to the author; the review is signed by the profile secretary.
11. The editors of the publication send copies of the reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation upon receipt of the relevant request to the editorial office of the publication.
12. When necessary, the executive secretary for the profile makes additional explanations of certain provisions of the review (at the initiative of the author; by e-mail / by phone / fax).
13. The manuscript recommended for publication is sent to the responsible secretary for the profile for further passage.
14. The manuscript recommended for revision, after revision, is sent for re-review. The re-reviewing procedure follows the reviewing order.
15. A manuscript not recommended by the reviewer for publication may be sent for additional review. The names of the main and additional reviewers are not reported to the authors.
16. Reviews are kept in the editorial office (in electronic form / in print form) for 5 years.

The journal is registered by the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Mass Communications, Relations and the Protection of Cultural Heritage (certificate issued by the Federal Service of the Federal Assembly 77-81381 от 16.07.2021г.). Journal has numbers ISSN 1992-7940. Included in the "List of leading peer-reviewed journals and publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of doctor and candidate of science should be published (revised July 2007)". According to the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia of October 10, 2008 No. 38/54 from October 10, 2008, the publications recommended for publishing the main scientific results of doctoral and master's theses include all publications included in the List of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications produced in the Russian Federation, in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of doctor and candidate of science should be published.
