Abstract
The aim of our study is to develop optimal extraction conditions and validate a method for the quantitative determination of flavonoids in Salvia stepposa Des.–Shost. leaves. Upon completion of the study of the extraction parameters, optimal conditions for the extraction of flavonoids from S.stepposa leaves were determined: the grinding of raw materials – 1.0 – 2.0 mm, ethyl alcohol concentration – 60%, the ratio of raw materials and ethyl alcohol 1:200, AlCl3 concentration of 1%, followed by infusion for 30 minutes, a single extraction is sufficient for maximum extraction. The developed method has been tested for linearity, repeatability, reproducibility and correctness, and is a precision one.
